The IIT-JEE exam is conducted in two phases: JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main serves as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, which is required for admission to IITs. The exam tests students’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and is known for its challenging level of difficulty. Eligibility For IIT-JE
To appear for IIT-JEE, candidates must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. They must also meet the age limit criteria and have secured the required minimum percentage in their Class 12 exam. Candidates must also attempt JEE Main and qualify to appear for JEE Advanced. The number of attempts for JEE Advanced is limited, and the eligibility criteria may slightly vary depending on the specific IIT.
